55. Alaska hwy IV

It was a short ride to Whitehorse today. After a few kilometers I crossed the Yukon River for the first time and shortly afterwards I was in Whitehorse where I enjoyed the first fastfood since Terrace and the first traffic-light in 1300km.

Later I went to get supplies and technical underwear. The past nights were incredibly cold and people told me that it just snowed on the Top of the World Highway in the past days.

I am being hosted by friends of my hosts in Vancouver. They live in a very nice place outside of town and I enjoy probably 2 days off before I continue my jurney to Dawson.
