When we crossed the Columbia River by ferry this morning, I came into my 3rd US-State on this trip: Washington.
the route went further along the river to the east and then to the nord. Instead of the usual rain, Washington welcomed us with hot summer weather and only little clouds.
As usual were spoken to quite regularly and usually people gave us some "good" hints for our trip - especially for Alaska. Many Americans seem to think, that this place is extremly dangerous. However, we reached a nice State Park today and we'll see what tomorrow brings (when my friend will leave me probably)
