5. Little River - Westport

First of all thanks a lot for all the greetings and nice words that I received in the past days - it was a real joy during a rough beginning of the tour.
After meeting an interesting German-American couple who is cycling to the south, on last nights campground, did I not start as early as usual. It didn't really matter because I only had to cycle a bit more than 30 miles to the feet of the mountain, which I will "climb" tomorrow. It will be the biggest mountain on the whole route between SF and Vancouver.

That's also why I made a lazy day and went to the first MCD on the road since SF (!). While I was inside it started to rain and unfortunately it keeps raining to this hour. At least the strong winds of the past days are gone which made cycling a lot easier.
