Route

The route leads from San Francisco along the Pacific Coast Highway northwards to Vancouver. After crossing Vancouver Island I take the ferry to Prince Rupert, some 1000 km, and then continue further north.

Via Whitehorse the route goes on to Alaska, where Fairbanks is the last point of civilisation before I ride the Dalton Highway the final 700 km up to the north coast of Alaska. The destination is Prudhoe Bay (also called Deadhorse).

Basically I plan the route day by day and will probably change it here and there…
